  The two knives arrived today in perfect order and they are exceptional.  That was excellent service and very fast delivery.   A friend and I believe that these knives may be the very best hunting knives that we have ever seen and they are probably the most utilitarian knives on the market today.  Marvin is certainly a craftsman.  The quality of the knives is excellent and the fit and finish of the knives couldn't be better.

It is my opinion that the best knives to use on Deer, Elk and other medium-large and small game in America is probably the knives made by Marvin Poole.    We have tried many different knives over the years, but always return to the basic Poole knife.    When they are sharp they work just as well as the larger knives but are easier to handle and easier to use.

They have excellent ergonomics and a basic functional design.  They fit the hand so well that they can be used with the precision of a scalpel and at the same time are big enough to get the job done.  Marvin ships the knives with a razor sharp blade and they hold their edge very well.

  Hey;  just opened Marvin's (Custom order) creation. Tell him it is absolutely perfect! It's exactly what I have looked for for years!!!  I had pretty much given up on finding this particular size & fit. I thought I was going to have to settle for 2nd best or something of that nature.  I like the shorter- handled one too but it is nice to have plenty of handle-length to hang onto also. Anyway, it's wonderful work!  The stag is good quality also.
